I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University.  I received my Master’s Degree in Political Science from Ohio State in 2006 with specializations in International Relations and Political Economy.  I have a B.A. in International Relations from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey.  Before transferring to Bilkent, I spent one year at the Australian National University in Canberra studying Politics and Asian Studies.

My research interests include international and comparative political economy, domestic and international institutions, the nexus between economics and international security, and political methodology.  My dissertation, which focuses on the ties between domestic and international political and economic institutions, brings together several of these areas of interest.  To find out more about my research, teaching and background, please click the links at the top of the page.
